ANALYSIS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND HARASSMENT IN COLLEGE: HOW SEVERE?

Abstract

Sexual violence and harassment are acts where the perpetrator makes physical contact that the victim does not want or verbal remarks that lead to sexual acts, causing discomfort to the victim. This action is included in a serious case because it causes physical and mental disturbances for the victim, especially for underage victims, both for women and men, because basically, regardless of size, sexual violence and harassment still occur, even though the average cases that occur are involving women. Various regulations to minimize these actions have been passed but unfortunately there are still many cases that occur, one of which is in the educational environment, including in higher education.
