Efektivitas Peningkatan Peranan Wanita Menuju Keluarga Sehat dan Sejahtera (P2WKSS) di Kota Bandung

Abstract


This research was conducted with the aim of describing the results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the program to increase the role of women towards a healthy and prosperous family (P2WKSS) in Bandung City. The competition-based women's empowerment program implemented in 2023 is located in Sadang Serang Village. This empowerment program run by cross-sectors in the Bandung City government is considered ineffective, so the Bandung City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office seeks to collaborate with all sectors in improving the quality of the empowerment provided. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. This research analyzes using references to Edy Sutrisno's theory (2010) which has five dimensions, namely program understanding, on target, on time, goal achievement, and real change. The results of the series of studies show that the women's empowerment program implemented in Sadang Serang urban village in 2023 showed positive and good results because the series of program implementations had been fully realized in an effort to increase women's awareness and mindset to play a greater role in the family and community, but it needs to be considered and improved to carry out similar empowerment, namely the absence of clear criteria for beneficiaries, too short a pattern of activities, and not maximizing community participation.
