Strengthening the Quality of Business Planning for BUM Desa to Increase Village Revenue in Cianjur Regency

Abstract


Increasing village revenue is one of the main objectives in the policy framework for fostering the growth of BUM Desa in Cianjur Regency. In the effort to achieve this goal, BUM Desa are expected to play a significant role as a driving force for the local economy. However, the complex challenges faced by BUM Desa during the period of 2020-2022 have yet to realize this objective. This paper aims to provide an overview of the impacts that have occurred from the business planning of BUM Desa on their development and the achievement of the goal to increase the village's original revenue in Cianjur Regency.This study also analyzes how ideally structured business planning can contribute positively to the development and profitability of BUM Desa. Additionally, this paper delves into the potential innovations within an ideal business planning model for BUM Desa. This novel approach integrates the concept of the Business Model Canvas to fortify the foundation of planning and optimize available resources.A critical aspect in strengthening the business planning of BUM Desa lies in the utilization of the Business Model Canvas. By extracting core values from the businesses conducted by BUM Desa, this framework enables focused and goal-oriented planning, specifically directed towards revenue enhancement. Moreover, this paper suggests an innovative approach involving a more holistic and meticulous feasibility study calculation. This approach takes into account financial, technical, and market aspects to ensure the sustainability of the businesses and their positive impact on the community.
